We recently completed a massive, full HMO refurbishment in Thorne, Doncaster.
An HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) is a type of housing where a property is divided into separate rooms or units that are rented out to different individuals. The full HMO refurbishment involved completely renovating and improving the entire property, including individual rooms and shared spaces, to make it more appealing, modern, and comfortable for potential tenants.
Our client, an investor who was looking to convert a three-bedroom house into an HMO, asked us to install and tile a brand-new kitchen and downstairs toilet. The property saw new decoration in every room, including skimming over three artex ceilings. New doors were installed to comply with fire regulations, and aqua boarding was installed in the upstairs bathroom.
